BERYL (from Greek language "beryllos", apparently called after the south Indian town Belur) is a mineral, which appears in very many colors: green, blue, pale yellow, peach pink, red and transparent. The transparent and beautiful colors are also referred to as nobel-beryl and are having an important place in the jewelry world - SMARAGD, AQUAMARINE, HELIODOR, MORGANITE and GOSHENIT.
